Erkki Lasonpalo´s, the artistic director of the Lappeenranta City Orchestra, contract will be extended from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

The Mikkeli City Orchestra and conductor Erkki Lasonpalo continue their cooperation.

Lasonpalo has been the orchestra's chief conductor since 2020, and the new contract covers the years 2024–2025.As chief conductor, Erkki Lasonpalo leads the Mikkeli City Orchestra for at least six concert periods a year.
